Larson, C. Felix
C. Felix Larson was born in Finland on December 12, 1879, where he was raised, educated, and learned the carpenter trade. In 1902, he immigrated to the United States and spent six summer seasons working as a carpenter in Alaska. After losing his initial investment on a dry tract of land in Fresno County, California, he persevered and purchased a virgin fifteen-acre ranch in 1908.
Through hard work, Felix successfully transformed the raw property into an attractive farm featuring modern, well-constructed buildings. He specialized in growing peaches and Thompson seedless grapes, eventually joining both the Peach Growers and Raisin Growers associations. On August 24, 1916, he married Olga Marie Arnell, with whom he had two sons, Olave Daniel and Theodore Felix Leonard.
